Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Valtrex.io will issue refunds for advisory services. Given the custom, knowledge-intensive nature of our engagements, our refund policy reflects the professional advisory standards of the industry.

General Policy

All sales of Valtrex advisory services are subject to the terms outlined in the engagement letter signed prior to commencement of work. As our services involve significant professional time and proprietary analysis, all fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

Pre-Engagement Cancellation

If you cancel your engagement before work has commenced (typically within 48 hours of payment), you may be eligible for a full refund, less any applicable administrative processing fees. Please notify us immediately at hello@valtrex.io.

Post-Commencement Cancellation

Once an engagement has commenced and professional work has been undertaken, refunds will not be issued for completed phases of work. If you wish to discontinue a multi-phase engagement, you will be billed for work completed to date, and any remaining balance will be released.

Service Dissatisfaction

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are dissatisfied with any deliverable, we ask that you notify us within 14 days of delivery. We will work with you to revise and improve the deliverable at no additional charge. Refunds based on subjective disagreement with valuation conclusions are not available, as our methodology is applied consistently and transparently.

Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Valtrex.io management. To request a refund review, please contact hello@valtrex.io with your engagement details and the reason for your request.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We take fraudulent chargebacks very seriously. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card company or bank for fees that are in accordance with our engagement letter and this policy, we reserve the right to immediately suspend all services and pursue legal action to recover the disputed amounts, including any administrative fees, legal costs, and collection expenses incurred by Valtrex. We encourage all clients to contact us directly to resolve any billing issues before initiating a dispute.

Force Majeure Cancellations

In the event that an engagement must be canceled or delayed due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, government regulations, or natural disasters, Valtrex.io will work with the client to reschedule the services or find a mutually agreeable alternative. Refunds for services not rendered due to force majeure events will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed, especially if significant preparatory work has already been completed.

Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. If we discontinue a service for which you have already paid and we are unable to provide a suitable replacement, you will be entitled to a pro-rated refund for the unfulfilled portion of the service. However, minor modifications to service delivery, methodologies, or timelines that do not materially impact the overall value of the engagement will not be grounds for a refund.

Subscription Services

If you are enrolled in any recurring subscription services offered by Valtrex, you may cancel your subscription at any time according to the terms specified in your subscription agreement. Cancellations must be made prior to the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for that cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months of service unless explicitly stated in your specific agreement.
